Realizing the Dream of Parenthood for a Couple after Thirteen Years
The Assisted Reproduction, Embryology, and Infertility Treatment Unit at Al-Mouwasat Hospital in Dammam successfully fulfilled the dream of a couple who had been struggling with infertility for thirteen years, experiencing several failed attempts at in vitro fertilization (IVF).
After visiting the hospital, Dr. Wadha Mahawish, the head of the unit, evaluated the couple following the necessary examinations. It was found that the wife had intrauterine adhesions and adhesions, while the husband had a low sperm count. Dr. Wadha Mahawish initiated her treatment plan, which included medication for the wife to address the adhesions and stimulate the uterine lining. Additionally, the husband received medication to improve his sperm count. Subsequently, Dr. Wadha performed a successful IVF procedure, resulting in an adequate number of embryos that were utilized to achieve pregnancy, all by the grace and guidance of Allah.
Thankfully, the couple was blessed with healthy twins. The excess embryos were cryopreserved for future attempts to conceive without the need for another IVF procedure.
It is worth mentioning that this type of procedure relies on modern medical techniques and highly trained medical professionals, which aligns with Al-Mouwasat Medical Services Company's vision of attracting highly skilled medical professionals and precise medical specialties. This is achieved by utilizing the latest advanced medical technologies and equipment in this field.
