The child was presented with her parents to the Pediatric Clinic of the Mowasat Hospital in Madinah, suffering from persistent vomiting and unsteadiness in walking. After a clinical examination, it was found that the symptoms are related to the nervous system, and accordingly, the doctor decided to refer the case to a neurosurgeon consultant, Dr. Mohammed Abdullateif
Immediately the doctor ordered a CT scan and it showed a large tumor in the posterior fossa, and hydrocephalus in the brain cavities.
Where the parents of the girl were advised to do a microscopic surgery to remove the tumor, and after her parents agreed to do the surgery, the girl was psychologically prepared and examined after that by the anesthesia consultant to ensure her eligibility for surgery.
By the grace of God, the tumor was removed by a precise microscopic technique without affecting any healthy tissues through a small incision in the back of the head.
The girl stayed in the hospital under the care of the medical and nursing team for 10 days to closely monitor her condition and ensure her health before being discharged.
The child left the hospital in full health to lead a normal life and sees the joy in her parents' eyes after God blessed her with recovery.
